DEPARTURE

We will pick you up directly from your hotel or villa, and our driver will accompany you to the helipad point. Before leaving, the captain will welcome the customer on board of the helicopter and he will explain all the necessary procedures for the tour. FLIGHT TOUR

During the flight you will discover the panoramas of Val d’Orcia, one of the most beautiful hilly areas of Tuscany. The whole area is a protected park, and has been recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 2004. The absolute protagonist of the Val d’Orcia is the unspoiled nature, with colors that changes according to the various seasons.

This land has given rise to the most precious and appreciated Italian products: Brunello di Montalcino, Nobile di Montepulciano, Rosso Orcia.

ARRIVAL IN CASTIGLION DEL BOSCO WINERY (in Montalcino)

The property, owned by Massimo Ferragamo, extends over 2.000 hectares, with 62 of these dedicated to Sangiovese vineyards. This is one of the world’s most fascinating estates and one of the founding members of the Consorzio Brunello di Montalcino, born in 1967.
After the visit, you will try a vertical tasting of six Brunello di Montalcino vintages, accompanied by local Pecorino cheese, bread, extra virgin olive oil and honey.

LUNCH IN MICHELIN STARRED RESTAURANT “SILENE” (in Seggiano)

After the experience in Castiglion del Bosco winery you will jump again and reach the Michelin starred restaurant Silene in Val d’Orcia.
Silene has a long history that began in the early 20th century.
The restaurant has maintained the ancient Tuscany culinary tradition based on the use of the best seasonal products. Roberto Rossi, chef at Silene’s, was born and grew up in Tuscany and he will accompany you in this experience. Highly recommend for truffle lovers.

ARRIVAL IN LE RIPI WINERY (in Montalcino)

Francesco Illy (from Illy coffee company) is the owner of Podere Le Ripi, one of the most renowned biodynamic vineyards in Montalcino.
The estate includes 54 hectares of forest, vineyards and olive trees. An uncontaminated soil and a marvelous vegetal variety surrounded by a breathtaking view. You will visit the Bonsai vineyard and the Golden Cellar, built with the ancient construction methods using more than 750.000 natural clay bricks. In conclusion, you will taste a selection of the best vintages.
