We will pick you up directly from your hotel or villa, and our driver will accompany you to the Milan helipad. Before leaving, the captain will welcome you on board of the helicopter and he will explain all the necessary procedures for the tour.

From the famous Lake Maggiore with the enchanting Borromean Islands, to the clear waters of the peaceful Lake of Mergozzo up to the enchanted scenery of Lake Orta with the suggestive Island of San Giulio: jewels of nature, art and history make these places one of the tourist destinations most beautiful in the world. All around, the corollary of the Ossola Valleys offers mountain lovers vast expanses of woods, alpine lakes, high peaks and spectacular parks.
We will fly over Lake Maggiore that is one of the most beautiful Italian lakes and has enchanted the great Italian and foreign artists who have stayed here. It is believed to be the largest of the pre-Alpine lakes, hence the name “Maggiore”. It is of glacial origin and its banks are in Lombardy, Piedmont and Switzerland. Surrounded by mountains and hills that shelter it from the cold northern winds, the lake has the Ticino River among its tributaries, a historic water route connecting the Po Valley to Central Europe.

On Lake Orta, the island of San Giulio stands out like a delicate cameo with its bishop’s palace, the Romanesque basilica and the Benedictine abbey. On the mainland, the delightful ancient village of Orta is dominated by the monumental complex of the Sacro Monte di San Francesco which, with the Sacro Monte della S.S. Trinità in Ghiffa and the Sacro Monte Calvario in Domodossola, since 2003 is part of the 7 Sacri Monti of Piedmont and Lombardy recognized as UNESCO World Heritage. The District is a natural paradise that conquers in all seasons with its biodiversity heritage.

One is situated in Stresa, queen of Lake Maggiore, located in a magnificent panoramic position, under the green slopes of Mottarone. The numerous villas, parks, gardens, the flowery lakefront, the ever-changing spectacle of the Borromean islands, crowned by snow-capped mountains, make Stresa one of the most important lagoon resorts.
Here you will have a pleasant dining experience at “Il Borromeo” Restaurant in the splendid Grand Hotel des Iles Borromees & SPA. In the elegant lake view dining room or of our restaurant guest enjoy a truly unique gastronomic experience, savouring the flavours of a locally –inspired cuisine and assisted by our highly skilled waiters.

Alternatively, we will have a stop in Villa Crespi, situated along the shores of Lake Orta, a small jewel of Piedmont considered one of the most romantic lakes in the world. It is an enchanted haven for all who wish for an experience of the emotions.
Dating back to the late 19th Century, this Moorish style, historic residence has been a private home and over the centuries became an exclusive place of hospitality for poets, nobles and rulers. At the end of the tour, we will fly back to Milan helipad and from there a private driver will accompany you to your accommodation.
