DEPARTURE

We will pick you up directly from your hotel or villa, and our driver will accompany you to Verona Boscomantico airport.
Before leaving, the captain will welcome you on board of the helicopter and he will explain all the necessary procedures for the tour.

FLIGHT DETAILS

The flight starts with an overfly over the romantic city of Verona, a magical city where art, history and culture come together to give you wonderful memories. Verona is the city of Love and Opera: famous for being the city of Romeo and Juliet and for its Arena where in summer the top performances are on stage.

The tour continues to the north to Valpolicella, an extremely complex and fascinating area. The uniqueness and complexity of Valpolicella wines starts from here, with these places with peculiar climatic and geological features, mysterious to a certain extent. It is a sort of micro-region, homogeneous for its historical, social and agricultural background.
You will have the opportunity to fly over the east bank of Lake Garda, including Sirmione, a Pretty peninsula that is a gem of art and history and was defined “Pearl of the islands and peninsulas” by the Roman poet Catullus.

You will explore also Desenzano del Garda, Padenghe, Salò, Toscolano Maderno and Bardolino.
Desenzano is a cherished destination famous for its Castle and the old pier or Porto Vecchio, built in 1200 as a wheat and grains trading area during the age of the Venetian Republic.
Padenghe is a small but lovely town that is immersed in the green of the morainic hills which, softly arranged in a crown, cover a large area. This land is the production area of the most important D.O.C. from the province of Brescia: the “Garda Classico” belongs to the Valtenesi, the agricultural area that extends south-west of the Garda, between Padenghe and Salò.
San Felice del Benaco, know also “Rabbit Island” is composed by three ancient villages located in the morainic hills between Salò and Manerba and they are a concentration of tranquility and history.
The Island of Garda is also part of the municipality, the largest and most elegant island of the entire Lake Garda.
Salò, is a jewel that hides many beauties at every corner: from the fifteenth-century Cathedral of Sant’Annunziata, to the magical atmosphere of the lakefront. It is located on the Brescian bank of Lake Garda, was the capital of the Magnifica Patria (Magnificent Homeland) during Venetian rule and home to several fascist government ministries of the Italian Social Republic.
A short distance from Salò, there is a place to be discovered, a village of Roman origin: Toscolano Maderno. The town lies on a large promontory that is enclosed between the romantic port of Toscolano and the suggestive Gulf of Maderno. The two centers are distinct: Toscolano is in fact a territory of industrial origin known for the famous paper mills where paper money was printed while Maderno is a mainly agricultural area renowned for the cultivation of olive trees and lemons.

The last area where we will fly over is Bardolino, one of the most beautiful and well-known locations on the Venetian shore of Lake Garda. It is a country characterized by a fascinating landscape and by the many colors that distinguish it: the clear blue of the lake, the green of the surrounding hills, with the characteristic olive groves and vineyards, the red of the sunsets.

If you are a lover of wine, of conviviality and of the beauty that comes from nature, we take you with us to discover the world of wine, its secrets and the wonderful facets of our territory in Conti Thun Winery, where we will land to relax for a couple of hours before flying back to Verona.
