Helicopter Wine Tour
San Gimignano & Bolgheri from Rome

DEPARTURE

We will pick you up directly from your hotel or villa, and our driver will accompany you to the helipad point in Capena Helipad. Before leaving, the captain will welcome you on board of the helicopter, and he will explain all the necessary procedures for the tour.

FLIGHT DETAILS

The flight starts from Rome and you will overfly above the city of Viterbo and Tuscany, with its amazing landscape of the Val d’Orcia area with Montalcino, Pienza & Montepulciano. Enjoy a wonderful view of scenic roads with cypresses. We will pass through the famous city of Siena with Piazza del Campo and Monteriggioni and finally flying over the small medieval village of San Gimignano, in the heart of Chianti hillsides. We will land in Tenuta Torciano Winery, where a family member will immerse you in the history of the Winery.

ARRIVAL IN TENUTA TORCIANO WINERY (San Gimignano)

Once landed in Tenuta Torciano Winery you will be welcomed by a family member and you will get to learn the wine etiquette and taste a selection of top-quality wines, sitting in the vineyard, in the wine cellar or in an exclusive private room and eating delicious home-made dishes.

Lunch consists of four courses, each of those truffles based and our chef will surprise you with a first quality match between wines and food. During the wine tasting you will be followed by our Sommelier, who will explain the secret of the art of tasting wine with different kind of food.
The winery experience consists of a vertical Wine Tasting of 13 Tuscan wines and gourmet products including personal reserves with vintage 1995, 1996-1997 and limited editions.

FLIGHT TO BOLGHERI AREA

After the visit of Tenuta Torciano you will fly over the beautiful Tuscan hills full of vineyards, Volterra, Bibbona, Bolgheri, Castagneto Carducci and the renowned Cypress-shaded road. We will take you to spend an emotional wine experience, discovering the secrets of labels that have made the history of Italian enology.
In the Castagneto Carducci area, in particular in Bolgheri, some of the best wines of the territory are produced.
Here you will live an excellent wine tasting of this outstanding wine in one of the most famous wineries of the area like Tenuta dell’Ornellaia, Tenuta Dell’Argentiera, Guado al Melo, Guado al Tasso. The Winery will be chosen based on the availability of the day.

RETURN

Flight back to the helipad and from there a private driver will accompany you to your accommodation.
