Tour Gavi – Villa Sparina

DEPARTURE

We will pick you up directly from your hotel or villa, and our driver will accompany you to the helipad point. Before leaving, the captain will welcome you on board of the helicopter, and he will explain all the necessary procedures for the tour.

The tour starts from Turin and we will fly above this breathtaking view and you will admire the famous Stupinigi Castle and Asti, where gentle hills alternate with valleys to create landscapes of unique beauty, and vineyards stretch as far as the eye can see, to provide a kaleidoscope of shades and tones.
The Asti area is a wine producer par excellence and the home of Asti Spumante DOCG (sparkling wine), renowned and exported all around the world.

The flight continues above Gavi, also known for some food and wine specialties such as cortese wine, amaretti, truffles and ravioli. The town belongs to the circuit of the Italian “wine cities”.
Gavi is a land bounded by 11 municipalities between Liguria and Lombardy and give the Denomination of Gavi, the Great Piedmonts White, the most important white wine from Piedmont. The meeting of the salty wind that blows in from the Ligurian Sea and the snow from the Apennine Mountains makes this a unique corner of Piedmont in the province of Alessandria. One glass of Gavi DOCG, a white wine to be enjoyed both young and aged, expresses the delicate yet elegant smells of the acacia flowers blooming in the spring, almonds and honey, as well as the fresh, savory taste of this rich land, antique like its winemaking tradition that dates back to 972.

Then, we will land in Villa Sparina Winery to enjoy a tasting of typical products of the area.

We will land in Villa Sparina, a Resort surrounded by the panoramic vineyards of Monterotondo, in the region of Piedmont, in the heart of the famous Gavi area: an oasis, far from the hustle and bustle, immersed in the silence of the countryside, within a warm, tranquil timelessness.
You will enjoy a delicious lunch at Restaurant la Gallina, a place characterized by a greatly balanced cuisine, where creativity is light and measured, the contrast between flavors is not enhanced, but delicate. The restaurant offers dishes of the traditions of Piedmont, always searching for genuine ingredients.
